A catch tray for the grounds in front of the grinder
This Eureka Mignon drip tray is a single piece with no stand. It reaches 109 mm out in front of the grinder and is 120 mm wide, flush with the grinder's sides, so the grounds that fall land on the tray and not on the counter.
The tray is 8 mm deep and holds about 100 ml. Its inner corners are rounded, so a cloth wipes it clean in one pass.
How it fits
A 69 mm tongue at the back slides into the grinder's cup recess, with 0.8 mm to spare on each side. It is designed to fit with no tools, nothing to fix and no modification to the grinder.
Materials and care
The tray is 3D printed in one piece in matte black PLA, and like any 3D printed part it shows fine layer lines on its surface.
PLA softens with heat, so wash it by hand in lukewarm water with mild dish soap and keep it out of the dishwasher.
