Right of withdrawal

1. Your right

If you are a consumer you have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period is 14 days from the day on which you, or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by you, acquire physical possession of the goods. If you ordered several items in one order and they are delivered separately, the period starts on the day you receive the last item.

To meet the deadline it is enough that you send your notice before the period expires.

2. How to withdraw

To withdraw, tell us in a clear statement that you withdraw from the contract. You can do that in any of these ways:

• Send an e-mail to [email protected] with your order number.
• Use the form on the contact page and choose the subject “return”.
• Fill in the model withdrawal form in section 6 and send it by e-mail or by post to Papel Espresso LLC, 30 N Gould St Ste N, Sheridan, WY 82801.

A single sentence is enough. You do not have to explain why, and you do not have to use the form. Once we have your notice we confirm it by e-mail and send you the return address.

3. Effects of withdrawal

If you withdraw, we reimburse all payments we received from you, including the delivery cost of sending the goods to you. The one exception is any extra cost that arose because you chose a delivery other than our standard delivery.

We make the reimbursement without undue delay and in any event within 14 days of the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw. We use the same means of payment that you used for the original transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise. You are not charged any fee for the reimbursement.

We may withhold the reimbursement until we have received the goods back, or until you have supplied evidence that you have sent them back, whichever is earlier.

You must send the goods back without undue delay and in any event within 14 days of the day on which you told us about the withdrawal. The deadline is met if you send the goods back before the 14 days expire.

You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling other than what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning. Unpacking a tamper and holding it against your portafilter is fine. Grinding and pulling shots with it for a week is not.

4. Return shipping

You bear the direct cost of returning the goods.

If the item is defective, if it is not the item you ordered, or if it does not match its description, we pay the return shipping. In that case write to [email protected] before you send anything, so that we can arrange the return label.

We do not charge a restocking fee or any other fee for a withdrawal.

5. Exceptions

The right of withdrawal does not apply to:

• Sealed goods that are not suitable for return for reasons of health protection or hygiene, if they were unsealed after delivery.
• Goods made to your specifications or clearly personalised.

Where an exception applies, it is stated on the product page before you order. Everything else in our catalogue can be sent back within the 14 days.
