Six parts in place of the wooden ones

This Niche Zero trim kit replaces the wooden parts of the grinder with six 3D printed parts in matte PLA: the base plate, the round cup stand and the four feet. Each part is made to the shape of the original wooden part.

The kit is for owners who want the base in one colour with the grinder, or in the opposite colour, in place of the wood.

The six parts

Base plate: the curved plate on top of the grinder's base, in place of the wooden base plate. It measures 119 × 160 × 10 mm.
Cup stand: the round stand the dosing cup sits on under the chute, in place of the wooden cup stand. It measures 91 × 91 × 15 mm.
Cone feet (4): in place of the four wooden feet. Each foot is 37 mm high.

Same fit as the original parts

The parts fit where the original wooden parts go, and the grinder itself is not modified.

Black or white

The kit comes in matte black or matte white, and all six parts of a kit are the same colour. On a black Niche Zero, a black kit makes the whole grinder black and a white kit sets the base apart from the body. On a white Niche Zero, a white kit makes it all white and a black kit gives a black base.

How to use it

Take the wooden base plate, the wooden cup stand and the four wooden feet off the grinder.
Put the base plate, the cup stand and the four cone feet of the kit in their places.
Stand the dosing cup on the new cup stand under the chute.

Materials and care

All six parts are 3D printed in matte PLA, and like any 3D printed part they show fine layer lines on the surface. Clean them with a dry brush or with air. Do not put them in the dishwasher.
