Coffee Filter Box for V60 Papers and #2 or #4 Cone Filters

This coffee filter box is shaped like the folded paper it holds. The V60-02 version takes a full pack of 100 Hario V60-02 papers. The lid opens on a hidden hinge so you can lift a paper straight out. It clicks shut again.

Shaped like the folded paper

A V60 paper folds flat into a quarter circle. The V60 boxes follow that quarter-round shape, so there is no wasted space around the papers.

The box is also made for flat-bottom cone filters in size 1x2 and 1x4 (#2 and #4), the Melitta and Moccamaster type. Folded flat, such a paper forms a fan of about 57° with a cut-off tip, and the boxes for these two sizes follow that fan.

Lid on a hidden hinge

The lid is a curved band that runs along the outer edge of the box and turns down at the front. It opens on a hinge hidden in the back corner. With the lid open, the papers stand about 12 mm out of the base, so you can lift one straight out. Close the lid and it clicks shut.

Ripples and pleats

Concentric ripples run across both sides of the box, and pleats run across the lid. The Black Tamp logo is on the back and in the corner of one side.

Choose the right size

V60-02: for Hario V60-02 papers. It takes a full pack of 100 and measures 146 × 51 × 136 mm. This version is selected by default.
V60-01: for Hario V60-01 papers.
1x2 (#2): for flat-bottom cone filters in size 1x2 (#2), the Melitta type.
1x4 (#4, Moccamaster): for flat-bottom cone filters in size 1x4 (#4), the Melitta and Moccamaster type.

Each box follows the shape of its own paper, so choose the version that matches the papers you use. Hario V60, Melitta and Moccamaster are trademarks of their owners; we use the names only to say which papers each box takes.

How to use it

Open the lid. It swings up on the hinge at the back.
Stand the papers in the base, folded flat as they come in the pack, with one straight edge on the bottom and the other against the back wall.
Lift one paper straight up and out of the box.
Close the lid until it clicks shut.

Materials and care

The base and the lid are 3D printed in matte black PLA, and like any 3D printed part they show fine layer lines on the surface. Clean the box with a dry brush or with air. Do not put it in the dishwasher.
