Single dosing on the Fellow Ode

This hopper replaces the stock hopper of the Fellow Ode for single dosing. You weigh one dose of beans, pour it in and grind. The funnel leads every bean to the burrs, so the next dose starts clean.

A steep funnel

The funnel has a 64 mm mouth and steep walls, so beans do not stop on a ledge on their way down. They drop straight into the grinder.

Original screws, original lid

The hopper fastens with the four screws of the stock hopper, so you need no extra hardware. The stock Ode lid sits on top 1:1, as it did on the original hopper.

One hopper for Gen 1 and Gen 2

The same hopper fits the Ode Gen 1 and the Ode Gen 2. On the Gen 2, the two 15 mm spacers in the box go into the two front screw holes.

A spout without glue

The spout is a separate part. It drops into the grinder's inlet, and the hopper body clamps it by its flange when you tighten the screws. Nothing is glued. A Black Tamp icon sits on the front face.

Questions before you buy

Does it fit the Ode Gen 2? Yes. It fits the Ode Gen 1 and Gen 2; on the Gen 2 you use the two 15 mm spacers from the box.
Do I need new screws? No. It uses the four screws of the stock hopper.
Can I keep my Ode lid? Yes. The stock lid sits on top 1:1.

How to use it

Unplug the grinder. Take off the lid, remove the four screws of the stock hopper and lift the hopper off.
Drop the spout into the grinder's inlet.
Set the hopper body on top. On an Ode Gen 2, put the two spacers into the two front holes.
Put the four stock screws back in and tighten them.
Put the stock lid on. Weigh a dose, pour it in and grind.

Materials and care

The hopper is 3D printed in matte black PLA. Like any 3D printed part, it shows fine layer lines on the surface. Clean it with a dry brush or a dry cloth. It is not dishwasher safe.
