Portafilter Holder for Niche Zero
A portafilter holder for the Niche Zero grinder, in matte white PLA. It sits on the base plate under the centre bolt with the basket right below the chute, and a wide cradle holds the handle, so you grind hands-free. The original wooden cup stand fits inside. Made for 58 mm portafilters, with a 54 mm version.

Grind into the portafilter, hands-free
This Niche Zero portafilter holder lets you grind straight into the portafilter without holding it. The basket stands right below the chute, and a wide cradle at the front holds the handle.
It is made for a 58 mm portafilter, and a 54 mm version is available.
Under the original bolt
The holder sits on the grinder's base plate, under the original centre bolt. In that spot the basket stands right below the chute.
The original wooden cup stand stays: it fits inside the holder.
Wide handle cradle
The cradle at the front is 9 mm wide and softly rounded. It holds the handle of the portafilter, so both hands stay free while you grind.
Stronger front
The front of the holder tapers and has a large inner radius. There is no thin neck where it could snap.
Choose the right size
Choose the size of your portafilter in the options.
- for a 58 mm portafilter. This is the version on the product sheet; the holder measures 99 × 131 × 50 mm. It is selected by default.58 mm
- for a 54 mm portafilter.54 mm
How to use it
- Set the holder on the grinder's base plate, under the original centre bolt.
- Leave the wooden cup stand inside the holder.
- Set the portafilter in the holder: basket under the chute, handle in the front cradle.
- Grind. The holder carries the portafilter, so both hands stay free.
- Lift the portafilter out by its handle.
Materials and care
The holder is 3D printed in matte white PLA, in one colour, and like any 3D printed part it shows fine layer lines on the surface. Clean it with a dry brush or with air. Do not put it in the dishwasher.
