Open Filter Paper Holder for V60 and #2 or #4 Cone Papers

An open holder for your filter papers

This filter paper holder keeps a whole pack of coffee filters upright and in shape next to the dripper. It is an open tray with no lid, so the next paper is always in reach.

Made for the paper

Each size follows its own filter paper. A V60 paper folds flat into a quarter circle, and a 1x2 or 1x4 cone filter folds into a fan with a cut-off tip. The tray takes the paper's shape, so the stack keeps its folds and does not lean or curl.

One paper at a time

The side walls drop in a soft wave from the tall back to a low front lip. You see the front paper, pinch it and lift it straight up. Nothing is in the way from above.

Holds a full stack

The tray is 46 mm deep, front to back. That is room for a whole pack of papers, so you can empty a new pack straight into it.

Clean Black Tamp form

Concentric ripples run across both sides and every outer edge is rounded. A Black Tamp mark is debossed in the corner of one side. The holder is 3D printed in matte black PLA.

Choose the right size

V60-02: for Hario V60-02 papers. It measures 136 × 51 × 79 mm. This version is selected by default.
V60-01: for Hario V60-01 papers. It measures 111 × 51 × 64 mm.
1x2 (#2): for flat-bottom cone filters in size 1x2 (#2). It measures 138 × 51 × 84 mm.
1x4 (#4, Moccamaster): for flat-bottom cone filters in size 1x4 (#4), the type used in a Moccamaster. It measures 159 × 51 × 96 mm.

Sizes are width × depth × height. Choose the version that matches your papers. Hario V60 and Moccamaster are trademarks of their owners; we name them only to say which papers fit.

Open tray or closed box

This holder is the open version of our Coffee Filter Box. Both take the same paper sizes. Choose the open tray if you want a paper in reach at every brew. Choose the closed box if you want the papers covered.

How to use it

Set the holder on a flat, dry surface, the tall wall at the back.
Take the papers from the pack, folded flat as they come.
Stand them in the tray on their straight edge, against the back wall.
To brew, pinch the front paper and lift it straight up.

Materials and care

The holder is 3D printed in matte black PLA, and like any 3D printed part it shows fine layer lines on the surface. Wash it by hand and let it dry before you put papers back in. It is not dishwasher safe.
