Filter Paper Holder for xBloom Studio
A holder for the flat-bottom wave filter papers of the xBloom Studio. The papers stack in a pleated pocket that keeps their shape, and a lid clicks on over them to keep dust out. Closed, it measures Ø122 × 73.4 mm. We 3D print it in matte black PLA.

A holder for xBloom filter papers
This holder keeps the flat-bottom wave filter papers of the xBloom Studio in shape and free of dust. The papers stack in a pocket with 20 pleats, the same as the paper, and a lid clicks on over them. Closed, it is a round box of Ø122 × 73.4 mm for the counter next to the machine.
A pleated pocket that keeps the shape
The pocket has 20 pleats, a Ø42 mm floor and a depth of 50 mm, so the papers nest into each other and keep their folds. The rounded rim keeps a paper from catching as you lift it out, and the lid leaves 16 mm of room above the rim.
A lid that clicks on
The lid slides over the neck and rests flush on a shoulder, with no step between lid and body. Six small spring tongues hidden in the neck click into a groove inside the lid in the last few millimetres. The groove runs all the way round, so the lid clicks on at any angle.
3D printed by us
We 3D print the body and the lid in matte black PLA. The lid wall is printed solid, with 44 grooves and the Black Tamp mark on the front. Like any 3D printed part, the holder shows fine layer lines on its surface. On the underside are four seats for Ø10 mm silicone feet.
How to use it
- Lift the lid off.
- Stack the xBloom filter papers in the pleated pocket.
- Take one paper out from the top when you brew.
- Press the lid back on until it clicks.
Materials and care
The body and the lid are 3D printed in matte black PLA. Clean them with a dry brush or with air. Do not put them in the dishwasher.
