A stand that holds the Robot portafilter by its lugs
This Cafelat Robot portafilter stand holds the Robot portafilter by its lugs. They sit in two notches in the rim, and the portafilter hangs 1.8 mm clear of the floor of the stand.
The tang of the portafilter comes out through a slot in the wall. The inside is shaped to the portafilter, and the outside has 36 vertical flutes.
How it fits
Lower the portafilter into the stand with its lugs in the two notches and its tang in the slot. The stand needs no tools.
Materials and care
The stand is 3D printed in matte black PLA, and like any 3D printed part it shows fine layer lines on its surface.
PLA softens with heat, so wash it by hand in lukewarm water with mild dish soap and keep it out of the dishwasher.
