A low tray that reaches out in front of the machine
This Gaggia Classic extended drip tray replaces the original tray on the Gaggia Classic Pro, Evo, E24 and RI9403. It is 173.5 mm deep instead of the short tray's 129 mm, so it reaches out in front of the machine. It is 26 mm tall and holds a generous amount of water.
Two Ø16 mm feet plug into holes under the front and carry the part that stands out. A separate cover plate fits into the front of the tray.
The machine's own stainless grate goes on top.
How it fits
Plug the two feet into the holes under the front, take the machine's tray out and set this one in its place. Then put the original grate on top. It needs no tools and no modification to the machine.
Materials and care
The tray, the front cover and the feet are 3D printed in black ABS, and like any 3D printed part they show fine layer lines on their surface.
Wash them by hand in lukewarm water with mild dish soap.
