A stand that holds the Gaggia portafilter by its lugs
This Gaggia Classic portafilter stand holds the portafilter of the Gaggia Classic Pro, Evo, E24 and RI9403 by its lugs. They sit on two notches in the rim, and the bottom of the portafilter stays clear of the stand floor.
The handle comes out through a slot in the wall, so the portafilter sits level in the stand. The inside is shaped to the portafilter, and the outside has 36 vertical flutes.
How it fits
Lower the portafilter into the stand with its lugs on the two notches and its handle in the slot. The stand needs no tools.
Materials and care
The stand is 3D printed in matte black PLA, and like any 3D printed part it shows fine layer lines on its surface.
PLA softens with heat, so wash it by hand in lukewarm water with mild dish soap and keep it out of the dishwasher.
