Terms and conditions
In short
- The contract is concluded when we confirm your order, not when you press the button.
- Prices for the EU and the United Kingdom include VAT, and the only extra we charge is the shipping per order (from $5.00, depending on the country and, for some items, their size or weight, shown in the currency you shop in); parcels to the EU, the United Kingdom, the United States and Canada are sent with the import taxes prepaid, and for other countries duties, taxes or clearance fees set by the destination country may apply.
- We deliver to every country: the order is picked and packed in 2 days, and the delivery time then depends on the country; for countries without their own rate the delivery time varies.
- You have 14 days to withdraw, and if an item is faulty you have the rights your local consumer law gives you. In the EU and the United Kingdom that is a statutory guarantee of at least two years.

1. Scope
These terms apply to every contract concluded through the Black Tamp shop between Papel Espresso LLC Limited liability company (Wyoming, USA), 30 N Gould St Ste N, Sheridan, WY 82801, United States (“we”, “us”) and you as the customer. The version in force is the one published on this page when you place the order.
We sell to consumers and to businesses and deliver to every country, within the limits set out in section 4. If you live outside the European Union, the rights these terms give you apply to you by contract, and the mandatory consumer protection of the country you live in applies in addition. Where a rule below applies only to consumers, it says so. A consumer is a natural person who concludes the contract for purposes outside their trade, business or profession.
Your own terms of purchase do not become part of the contract, even if we do not object to them.
2. Contract conclusion
2.1 The product pages are an invitation, not an offer
The products shown in the shop are an invitation to you to place an order. They are not a binding offer from us.
2.2 The order steps
- Choose a product, choose the size or colour where the product has options, and put it in the cart.
- Open the cart and check the items, the quantities, the shipping cost and the total.
- Enter your delivery address and your e-mail address and choose a payment method.
- Check the summary. You can go back to any earlier step with the browser or with the links in the summary and correct what you entered.
- Place the order with the button “Order with obligation to pay”. Pressing that button is your binding offer to buy the items in the cart.
2.3 Our acceptance
We confirm the arrival of your order by e-mail at once. That first e-mail is a confirmation of receipt, not yet an acceptance. The contract comes into being when we accept your offer in a separate order confirmation, or at the latest when we dispatch the goods.
We store the text of the contract and send it to you with the order confirmation, together with these terms and the withdrawal instructions. You can also read the order in your account if you created one.
The contract can be concluded in English, German, Dutch, French, Italian, Spanish or Polish.
3. Prices and VAT
Prices are in US dollars, or in euro, pounds sterling or Canadian dollars when you choose that currency or have the order delivered to a country that uses it; the amount charged is the amount in the order summary. For delivery within the EU, prices include VAT and the parcel is sent with the import taxes prepaid. For delivery to the United Kingdom, prices include UK VAT at 20%; an order to the United Kingdom may contain goods worth up to £135 excluding VAT. For delivery to the United States and Canada, the parcel is sent with the import taxes prepaid. For these destinations, in rare cases the carrier or the customs authority of the destination country may still charge a local fee or tax; we do not control this and cannot rule it out. For delivery to all other countries, for example Brazil or Mexico, the import taxes are prepaid for most destinations, but duties, taxes or clearance fees set by the destination country may apply; these are payable by you.
Shipping is charged once per order and is shown before you place the order. The following is the complete list of what we charge:
| Item | Amount |
|---|---|
| Product price | As shown on the product page; VAT included for the EU and the United Kingdom |
| Shipping | Per order, from the rate for the destination country on the shipping and delivery page (from $5.00; some items ship at their own rate because of their size or weight), shown in the currency you shop in |
| Import taxes, EU27, United Kingdom, United States and Canada | Prepaid; in rare cases the carrier or customs may charge a local fee or tax on delivery |
| Import duties and taxes on delivery, all other countries | Prepaid for most destinations; otherwise set by the country of destination, payable by you on delivery where due |
| Payment surcharge | None |
| Return shipping after a withdrawal | Carried by you, see section 8 |
| Return shipping for a defective item | Carried by us |
4. Delivery
We deliver to every country. The order is picked and packed in 2 days, and the delivery time then depends on the country; for countries without their own shipping rate the delivery time varies. Shipping is charged per order, starting from the rate for the destination country: from $5.00, and from $22.00 for countries without their own rate. Some items ship at their own rate because of their size or weight; the checkout shows the exact cost before you pay. The rate and the delivery time for each country are on the shipping and delivery page. In the United States we do not deliver to Alaska, Hawaii, the US territories or military addresses. For delivery to Brazil or Mexico the recipient’s tax ID (CPF or CNPJ in Brazil, RFC in Mexico) is required at checkout, and an order cannot be placed without it.
The delivery time is an estimate based on how the route normally runs, not a fixed date. If a delivery date has been agreed in writing, that date applies instead. Details of the route, the tracking and what to do when something goes wrong are on the shipping and delivery page.
If an item you ordered turns out to be unavailable, we tell you without delay and refund any payment you already made.
5. Payment methods
You can pay with the methods shown at checkout: Stripe. The available methods can differ by member state. Payment is due when the order is placed, unless the method itself works differently.
6. Retention of title
The goods remain our property until they are paid for in full. This does not affect your rights under sections 7 and 8, and it does not stop you from using the goods normally once they are delivered.
7. Legal guarantee
If an item is faulty or does not match its description, you have the rights your local consumer law gives you. For customers in the EU and the United Kingdom this is the statutory guarantee, which lasts at least two years from delivery.
Write to [email protected] with the order number and a photo of the fault, and we repair or replace the item or refund it, as the law provides. We carry the cost of returning a defective item, and we do not charge you for the examination, the repair or the replacement.
A manufacturer’s guarantee, where one is given, comes on top of these rights and never replaces them.
8. Right of withdrawal
If you are a consumer you have 14 days to withdraw from the contract without giving a reason. The period starts on the day you or a person you named take physical possession of the goods. The full instructions, the effects of a withdrawal, the exceptions and the model withdrawal form are on the right of withdrawal page. The practical steps are on the returns page.
9. Liability
We are liable without limit for damage caused intentionally or by gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, and wherever product liability law imposes liability on us.
For slight negligence we are liable only where we breach an obligation whose fulfilment makes the proper performance of the contract possible in the first place and on whose fulfilment you may rely. In that case our liability is limited to the damage that is foreseeable and typical for this kind of contract.
Nothing in this section limits a right that the law gives you and that cannot be limited by contract.
10. Dispute resolution
The European Commission’s online dispute resolution platform was closed on 20 July 2025. We are not obliged to take part in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board, and we do not take part in them, unless the law requires us to. You can always write to us first at [email protected], and you keep every right a court gives you.
11. Applicable law
The law of United States applies, with the exclusion of the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. If you are a consumer, this choice of law does not take away the protection given to you by provisions that cannot be derogated from under the law of the country where you have your habitual residence.
