A slotted grid for the original drip tray
This Gaggia Classic drip tray grid replaces the machine's own grate on the Gaggia Classic Pro, Evo, E24 and RI9403. It is a flat plate of 1.2 mm brushed stainless steel, 168.6 × 98.5 mm, and it sits on the original drip tray.
Eleven rounded slots, 4.2 mm wide, run along the grid. A Ø9.5 mm hole at the back left sits over the OPV return pipe.
How it fits
Lift the original grate off the tray and lay the grid in its place. Its top is level with the original grate top, and a plastic spacer keeps it from sinking into the tray. It needs no tools and no modification to the machine.
Materials and care
The grid is brushed stainless steel, 1.2 mm thick.
We finish each grid by hand, so small surface marks and slight differences in finish can occur. Wash it by hand and dry it after washing.
