The IKAPE Kapo stand is a simple stainless steel stand made for IKAPE's Kapo K1 and Kapo K2 portable espresso makers. IKAPE says it stands stable at home or outdoors, so you can set up a small coffee corner wherever you brew with one of those machines.

What it fits

IKAPE states that the stand suits the Kapo K1 and the Kapo K2. The K1 brews from ground coffee in a 51 mm basket or from a capsule, and the K2 has a 51 mm bottomless basket and heats its own water.

Stainless steel, for home and outdoors

The stand is made of stainless steel. IKAPE describes it as sturdy, stable and durable, and says it is not easily damaged. You can use it on a kitchen counter at home or on a table outdoors, and pack it with the machine when you travel.

Sold without a machine

This product is the stand on its own. IKAPE also sells the Kapo K2 and the Kapo K2 Pro with a stand included, and on both machines the second option comes with a foldable stand. If your K2 came with a stand, you may not need a second one.

How to use it

Set the stand on a flat, dry surface and check that it does not rock.
Prepare the Kapo K1 or K2 as usual, with the coffee dosed and tamped.
Place the machine in the stand and put your cup in position.
Start the extraction as usual.
Take the machine out of the stand before you empty and rinse the basket.

Materials and care

IKAPE describes the stand as durable stainless steel. Wipe it with a damp cloth when coffee or water lands on it, and dry it after use outdoors before it goes back in a bag. Clean it with a soft cloth and skip abrasive pads.
