A small coffee bar in one box
The IKAPE small espresso bar kit is an espresso tool kit: five puck-prep tools and a 7-in-1 solid wood organizer box that holds them beside the machine. The tamper, the distributor, the puck screen and the dosing funnel come in the basket size you choose, 51, 53.3 or 58.5 mm, in black or silver.
What is in the set
- V4 palm calibrated tamper: a calibrated tamper of the palm type, pressed with the flat of the hand.
- Gravity distributor: a gravity-type distributor that levels the bed before the tamp.
- V2 WDT tool: needles that break up clumps in the ground coffee.
- Puck screen: laid on the tamped bed before you lock the portafilter in.
- Dosing funnel: sits on the basket while you dose and keeps the rim clean.
- 7-in-1 organizer box: a solid wood block with seven storage places, one seat for each tool among them.

How to use it
- Set the funnel on the basket and dose the ground coffee into it.
- Stir with the WDT tool until the clumps are gone, then lift the funnel off.
- Level the bed with the distributor and press with the palm tamper.
- Lay the puck screen on the bed, lock in and pull the shot.
- Put each tool back in its seat on the box.
Materials and care
IKAPE names aluminium alloy and 304 stainless steel for the tamper and the distributor, and states that they are washable and do not rust. The organizer is solid wood, which IKAPE describes as sturdy and durable. It must not be soaked in water; wipe it clean with a towel.
Rinse the funnel and the puck screen after use, wash and dry the tamper and the distributor, rinse the WDT needles when they clog, and keep the wooden box out of standing water.
