A longer stainless steel tray with a plain front shelf
This Gaggia Classic Pro extended low profile drip tray replaces the machine's own tray on the Gaggia Classic Pro, Evo, E24 and RI9403. It has two stainless steel parts, a welded tray body and a grate that sits on it like a lid.
Together they stand 25 mm tall, and the body holds a generous amount of water.
The tray reaches 48.6 mm past the machine's front. Two feet under the front corners carry it.
The grate has the hole pattern of the Gaggia grate, 69 holes of Ø8.5 mm on a 14 mm grid, two Ø16 mm holes and a Ø11.2 mm hole for the tube, and a 69 mm plain shelf at the front.
The grate's skirt ends 0.5 mm above the counter, so the grate always rests on the body walls and does not rock.
How it fits
Take the machine's tray out, set the body in its place with the feet at the front and lay the grate on top. The Long Vent Tube that comes with it, Ø5 × 161 mm, passes through the Ø11.2 mm hole in the grate.
Materials and care
Both parts are laser-cut and bent from 0.8 mm AISI 304 stainless steel with a satin finish, and the body is welded.
We make each tray ourselves and finish it by hand, so small surface marks and slight differences in finish can occur. Wash the parts by hand and dry them after washing.
