This IKAPE set pairs a walnut coffee bean dosing bowl with an RDT spray bottle. You weigh a dose of beans into the bowl, spray them once or twice and then grind. IKAPE states that the spray reduces static electricity and the clumping of ground coffee after grinding.

The set comes in black or white. The bowl takes one dose of beans, up to 30 g, and the bottle holds the water for the spray, so both steps before grinding happen at the scale.

How to use it

Fill the bottle with clean water.
Put the bowl on the scale, tare it and weigh your dose of beans into it.
Spray the beans once or twice, as IKAPE instructs.
Swirl the bowl so the mist reaches all of them.
Tip the beans into the grinder and grind straight away.

Materials and care

IKAPE states that the bowl is walnut and rinses clean easily, and that the bottle is ABS.

Rinse the bowl under running water and dry it straight away. Do not leave it soaking or put it in a dishwasher. Empty the bottle if the set will stand unused for a while, so that water does not leave deposits in the nozzle, and refill it with fresh water.
