A funnel that fits over the Dedica portafilter

This De'Longhi Dedica dosing funnel sits on the 51 mm portafilter of the Dedica while you dose into it. Its Ø62.5 mm skirt goes over the portafilter, and an inner shelf rests on the portafilter's rim.

The outside has 36 vertical flutes, the same family as our portafilter stands.

Lockable or plain

Lockable: three L-slots take the portafilter lugs. Put the funnel on and turn it to lock. Ø73.3 × 30.9 mm.
Plain: three straight notches clear the lugs, so the funnel lifts off without turning. It is made for use in a stand: this is the one to use with our Portafilter Stand for De'Longhi Dedica. Ø73.3 × 27.3 mm.

How to use it

Put the funnel over the portafilter with the lugs in its slots or notches. Turn the lockable one to lock it; lift the plain one straight off. It needs no tools.

Materials and care

The funnel is 3D printed in matte black PLA, and like any 3D printed part it shows fine layer lines on its surface.

PLA softens with heat, so wash it by hand in lukewarm water with mild dish soap and keep it out of the dishwasher.
